FINANCE DIRECTOR

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare budget
  2. Make projections for cost efficiency
  3. Manage company investments
  4. Manage liability insurance
  5. Make recommendations regarding the selection of yearly auditors
  6. Maintain separate budget maintenance for all projects and report to the Director of Operations
  7. Attend staff meetings
  8. Be part of the grant writing team
  9. Weekly projects, quarterly income reports, yearly income tax returns
  10. Supervise bookkeepers
  11. All other duties as requested by the Director of Operations

Professional Experience: Selected candidate will have significant financial management experience. Oversee the finance function to ensure that the company’s business needs are met and that they are in compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Be able to recruit and develop financial talent to meet current and future needs of the organization.

Job Title: Loan Packager

Duties: We Help Community Development Corporation, a not-for-profit organization is seeking a Loan Originator/Processor.

Job Summary: Solicit residential loan applications; meet with customers; take complete applications and gather all documentation and information required for loan program.

Job Function:

  1. Meet with customers, identify their needs, and take residential loan applications.
  2. Originate loans: solicit business from real estate agents, bank branch offices, builders and others who can refer residential loan customers.
  3. Provide all compliance disclosures required at application.
  4. Monitor the processing of customer's loans through the closing process; work with loan processor to coordinate the collection of all information necessary to ensure completeness of loan files.
  5. Attend work on a regular basis, on time, and withstand varying degrees of stress.

Education/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required. Must have 6 months to one year of prior loan packaging experience, good presentation, well spoken, and hard working a must. Ability to analyze credit statements.

Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills, good computer skills, multi-tasking ability, strong customer relations and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform complex assignments requiring strong judgment and analytical ability.

Job Title: Receptionist

Report To: Appropriate Management

Job Summary: Greet visitors and answer phone calls for department/branch personnel in a polite and professional manner. Perform administrative functions as needed.

Job Function:

  1. Answer phones in a polite and professional manner and take messages or direct calls to the appropriate individual.
  2. Receive, sort, and distribute mail; stamp and certify outgoing mail.
  3. Maintain appointment books for assigned personnel.
  4. 4. Perform general administrative functions for the department: copy, type, file.
  5. Perform other functions and/or projects specific to the department/branch as assigned.
  6. Attend work on a regular basis, on time, and withstand varying degrees of stress.

Education/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent. Some customer service or general office experience preferred. Good multi-line phone and PC skills. Bilingual preferred.

Skills/Abilities: Exhibits excellent guest relations by demonstrating cooperation, courtesy, and respect when interacting with callers and visitors. Must be customer service oriented and possess a positive attitude. Ability to perform work in accordance with specific procedures but must be able to organize work and establish priorities.
